Common Sense Leadership for a Strong Future

Meet Lauren

Family Mountains.png

I am excited to be running for County Commissioner in District 5 because I believe all people are created with inherent value and freedom is essential to express our unique gifts and talents.  I am passionate about advocating for government that effectively serves the people, yet is restrained to it’s proper role to avoid overreach.

I am committed to making decisions based on our shared principles:

  • Protecting Taxpayers

  • Safeguarding Individual Rights

  • Respecting Private Property

I believe Colorado is in a battle to maintain the founding principles our country was built upon.  Many who pull the levers in government are forcing acceptance of ideologies through policy and regulations and tirelessly work every day to increase the size and role of government in our lives.

I feel compelled to step up and fight for freedom because I have seen this threat firsthand while working on the Colorado Springs District 11 Board of Education and while serving on the Board of a local Christian camp and conference center.

I will vote to stop that encroachment.
